For a large portion of my life I struggled with my not-so-fun health issues and hardcore sugar and food addictions. I was depressed, constantly fatigued, had low self esteem and was overly critical of myself because I wasn’t happy with how I looked and how I felt. I just wanted to feel confident and good in my body and reconnect with the real me.

 

I tried eliminating sugar, only eating "clean meats", "natural" cheeses, and "whole wheat" breads but nothing seems to relieve me of my fatigue and health issues. I was lost. I had no roadmap. I was exhausted and both my mental, emotional and bodily health were at my lowest.

I needed a real solution! I even tried going vegetarian. I got excited because I thought “this time will be different.” I would feel different for a few days, but the sugar addiction was real, and I couldn't seem to get a grip on my declining health issues, confidence issues, and chronic fatigue. I was hungry and feeling deprived. I was angry at life, depressed and miserable!

But that’s not the worst part.

The worst part is that when I went off of sugar for a while, I’d continue eating "healthy" but find myself sugar binging for days or weeks at a time. And that’s when the inflammation, depression, skin issues, insomnia and chronic fatigue really hit me hard…. with no mercy! Maybe you can relate and know how defeating this is. 

 

The last straw for me was when one day I woke up with hives all over my body! They were itchy, irritable, and made me feel even worse than ever! This was so strange because, all of my life, I'd never had any known allergies. Then suddenly, I realized that the hives were a representation of what was happening with my body on the inside- The amount of junk food and sugar I consumed literally irritated my body so bad, that it broke out!

That’s when I decided that there HAD to be a better way. 

I made it my life’s work to study the real science about food and the art of mindful eating and learn why I was struggling for so many years - and I learned how to reprogram my subconscious and heal my body naturally. Not only did I lose the belly fat and keep it off, but I also healed my body from my other conditions.  

I finally felt freedom with food and my body, mind and spirit and I learned how to mindfully eat and take care of myself in a way that felt nurturing on all levels, rather than punishment. I also felt good about reducing my carbon footprint by the amount of the trash and plastics I was purchasing. Psst... oranges come in their own wrapper, it's called the peel and it's compostable! 

Which led me to some pretty incredible results….

 

My midsection, especially my fupa, (that stubborn lower belly fat) slimmed down within a couple of weeks. I had an incredible amount of energy. I felt rejuvenated and alive again.
